Hello family,
Hope everyone is doing well at home. I haven't heard from some of you in a while, so it would be nice to get a letter!!!
Eric, it sounds like you had quite the experience in Flaming Gorge. It a good thing that no one got knocked out and fell in the water. I'm kind of scared of the whole lake thing anyway, so that would have been pretty tramatic for me. how's your summer going? Is it hot yet.
It's getting hot here again. Less rain and a lot more sun.
This week we have been working with the chen family a lot. They have been having a lot of personal problems lately and right now the mom is in the hospital. Their baptism is scheduled for 2 weeks so we will pray that God will help to work out.
The Wu family got baptized last saturday--a mom and her two kids. It good to see a family get baptized. their dad passed away in a car accident a few years ago, and so the plan of salvation is especially exciting for them. They already had faith in Jesus Christ before we met them, so they were great to teach.
This week we have been working hard. the last four days were a holiday, so a lot of people were out of town. A lot of our appointments fell through, but we were able to meet some cool new investigators. On sunday my companion had to go to a taiwan wide activity a few hours away, so my companion that day was sister parrish. It kind of stressful trying to get everything done because between the two of us we had 4 wards we needed to cover.
My companion and I are getting a lot pretty well. It's a lot different to try to do the work 24/7 in Chinese. But it works out alright.
Tomorrow we will go to our last Zone Conference with President Watterson. It should be really good. All the mission will be there.
Well thanks for the updates. I hope all is well at home.
Love,
Sister Browning
