Dear Browning Family,
Thanks for writing me letters.
Mom, How was mother’s week in Rexburg? I guess the weather was pretty crazy for you. We hot snow here a week ago, but just a few inches. Yesterday was nice weather and today the sun came out! We’re hoping to get to play volleyball outside on the MTC fields before we leave. Good luck with all the temple work. A lady in the branch presidency her, Sister Liv, is from Taiwan. Her genealogy goes back to 800 BC !! When china opens to missionary work & we start building temples there, the family history work is going to be incredible. An I’ll know how to read Chinese by then! (Hopefully). We have been focusing on Chinese a lot more this week and it’s been kind of a wake up call to really start working hard on the language. Before we got a break by teach some in Chinese, but now it’s pretty much down to business. Only 7 weeks left and so much to learn!
I hope everything is going well with the ward, Dad. It’s starting to feel like spring so hopefully you can get out biking soon.
Josh, your letter was great. If you write me my whole mission you’ll be already for letter writing when it’s your turn. Have fun at Prom & send me pictures!!! It’s a nice day here, so you’re probably started funning for track. Work hard so you can have a good season!
OK Eric, you’re the only one left to write me. I’ve already been gone one month, so you only have 17 more months to write me! Better hurry.
Tim-let me know what you’d like me to get from the bookstore. What’s new? Got the job stuff/BYU figured out yet? Good luck!
Elder Oaks came to devotional this week. It was the first apostle to come during our stay her so it was pretty exciting. He spoke about the desire to serve the Lord. We need to give Him our whole hearts and minds to become the missionaries we need to be. D&C 11 is a great section to demonstrate that.
So everything is going well. It’s good to be here! I’m so grateful to be the Lord’s servant.
